Setting up Uplay offline mode for Assassin's Creed: Origins

09.11.2017
This Ubisoft Connect setup guide for activating Assassin's Creed: Origins will help you keep your account functioning. Even if account owner change the password on the account you purchased, you can still play offline.

  1. Disable Windows updates. If you have Windows 10 installed, disable updates via the application http://www.site2unblock.com/win-updates-disabler/

  2. Start the Uplay client. Enter your account information and tick "Remember me" as shown in the screenshot.

  3. Download the game to your PC. After downloading the game, go to the Uplay setting and tick  "Always start Uplay offline" and "Do not send error messages"

  4. Run the game, set the required game language and graphics settings. After that, close the game and switch Uplay to offline mode, as shown in the screenshot.

  5. Close Uplay and go to the "Ubisoft Game Launcher" folder. By default, the folder is located at the address «C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher». Copy here three files (Uplay Backup ACO, ACO Offline, Uplay Online) from the archive by the link https://goo.gl/33jYAi

  6. After you have copied the files, run "Uplay Backup ACO" (This will make a copy of the settings of your offline Uplay client, which will protect it from an unplanned update).

  7. All subsequent ACO game starts are carried out strictly via the file "ACO Offline" (make a shortcut on the desktop). To login to other Uplay accounts, use the "Uplay Online" file.
